World Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Day Awareness event by ARDO
On account of World Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Day (7 Sep, 2026) with "Access Changes Life" Theme, Amaravathi Rare Diseases Organization conducted 3KM run & 1KM solidary walk at BRTS Road, Near Sarada College, Vijayawada.
World DMD Awareness Day is observed annually on 7 September to raise awareness about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a rare genetic condition, and to highlight the challenges faced by individuals and families living with DMD. This awareness program aims to promote early diagnosis, timely and appropriate medical care, rehabilitation, education, emotional well-being, and improved access to essential healthcare and support services for individuals affected by DMD. The program will bring together DMD patients and their families, caregivers, doctors, healthcare professionals, volunteers, social organizations, and supporters to create greater awareness, strengthen community support, and advocate for improved access to care and services.

Free T-shirt distributed to student & registered individual.
